This is the last day or two to join our scholarship cohort for Indie Birth New Midwifery School.
Tuition is half; so, $5555 for what could be/might be a life changing decision on your part.
We have been asked if or when we will offer this scholarship again. There is not a plan to offer it again, and each cohort and each time we enroll has its own special energy.
So, on that note I wanted to blab about doing hard things.
Or maybe it’s not that they are “hard”; growth can be easy at times. But overall, bringing expansion into our lives can feel like a lot. Learning something new in adulthood can be overwhelming and frustrating. We might wonder why we are even doing it, or question our own motives.
Of course, most of you know I have been on this surfing journey. It’s literally the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Way harder than birthing babies, actually:) It is challenging and rough but the bliss on the other side of catching a wave makes it all worth it.
We are seeking (always) other women who are the way-showers because they choose to challenge themselves. Whatever that is through learning, questioning their egos, or allowing themselves to “become”….or all of the above.
What I am saying is, our school is NOT for those who are scared of growth. Or who want the ego boost of “midwife”. Or just want to brag on Instagram about the babies they “catch” (ick).
Learning midwifery in this way, with us, requires a humility and a desire to do the hard things. This is not for everyone, but if it this IS you….
This is your call. No one knows really where life leads until we get there. But sometimes we have to consciously choose YES. Even when it is uncomfortable and even when we might be “starting over” at a point in life we never expected to do that.
But it’s all just words unless you feel that too.
If you’d like to learn about the art of caring for pregnant women with us, apply here.
You have through this weekend to join this sweet cohort of women that have already said YES.
Oxoxo
